Train
The Society offices are located only 10 minutes walk south from Edinburgh Waverley station.

Taxi
Edinburgh is well served generally by various taxi cab companies.

The closest airport is Edinburgh International Airport operated by BAA.  A very good bus and taxi link from the airport services the centre of Edinburgh.

There is no free parking adjacent to the Society offices, and NMS has no parking. Ticketed parking is avalable on Chambers Street and South College Street. The nearest car parks can be found at Chalmers Street to the west and St Johns Hill to the east, both operated by NCP.

The Society programme from October 2008 to May 2009 will be held in the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 22-26 George Street, which is also fully accessible to those with disabilities.
