Newsflash – a new partnership for antiquaries!

25th July 2017 | Categories: Partnership

We are delighted to announce the Society has teamed up with Tomatin Distillery Company Ltd in a new and exciting partnership to promote Antiquaries and Scotland’s rich past.

As proud owners of the Tomatin and Cù Bòcan single malt brands and a number of blends including
The Talisman and The Antiquary, and to celebrate the return to the UK market of The Antiquary range, Tomatin Distillery Company Ltd is offering Fellows of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland a special discount on its Antiquary whisky.

Fellows wishing to make a purchase simply need to quote a promotional code (SOC0717) when buying online from Tomatin (http://www.tomatin.com/shop). This code gives a £6 discount on The Antiquary 12 year old (RRP £30) and is valid from now until 31st December 2017 (UK sales only).

Also, as our two organisations have quite a few things in common, including an interest in local history and archaeological research, not to mention the word ‘antiquary’, Tomatin Distillery Company Ltd is providing complimentary drams of The Antiquary whisky at the Society’s Annual Meeting in November.

“The Antiquary is a Scotch Whisky brand fortified with history, dating back to its creation in 1857. The Antiquary 12 Year Old is an old favourite both within Scotland and indeed beyond, and we’re excited to bring it back to the UK market. We are delighted to be partnering with the Society and look forward to exploring our mutual interests together going forward.“
Jennifer Masson, Marketing Manager, Tomatin Distillery Company Ltd

“The Antiquary whisky blend has long held an obvious interest for us in the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and we would like to thank Tomatin Distillery Company Ltd for its support as we look forward to working together over the next 12 months. We’re both intrigued as to why the whisky got its name and its distinctive bottle shape, and we are looking forward to promoting research into Scotland’s past together.”
Simon Gilmour, Director, Society of Antiquaries of Scotland
