Archaeological Research in Progress 2024

Archaeological Research in Progress (ARP) is a one-day conference presenting new research findings and best practice in archaeology covering all periods from across Scotland.

It is organised in alternate years by Archaeology Scotland and the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland.

In 2024, the conference will take place on at the AK Bell Library in Perth and will provide insights into ongoing archaeological projects, including excavating ancient rock art in Argyll, uncovering a prehistoric timber hall in Moray, redating an iconic Pictish cross slab, and more. Archaeology Scotland Member / Society of Antiquaries of Scotland Fellow / IHBC member – Online: £5, In person: £30
Non-member / Non-Fellow – Online: £10, In person: £40
Student / Unwaged – Online: £2, In person: £20

In person tickets include tea, coffee and lunch.
