An exciting day excursion in and around Dunfermline, Fife, visiting two main sites of historic interest on Saturday 23rd of September.
In the morning we will visit Dunfermline Abbey and Palace, and in the afternoon Culross Palace and Village. Both visits will include private group tours led by expert guides.
8.45 – Meet outside the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street, Edinburgh
9.00 – Coach departs
10.00 – Arrive at Dunfermline Abbey & Palace
12.30 – Coach departs
12.45 – Arrive at Keavil House Hotel for lunch in the hotel’s Botanics restaurant
14:00 – Coach departs
14.30 – Arrive at Culross
16.30 – Coach departs
17.30/18:00 – Coach arrives back at Chambers Street, Edinburgh
(N.B. These timings are approximate and we will be divided into smaller groups for the tours).
Ticket prices:
Fellows: £50
Non-Fellows: £60
Tickets include: Return coach transport, guided tours, and lunch, tea and coffee.
(The total number of places for this excursion is limited to 32, with priority given to Fellows).
