On Sunday 5th July 2015, The Forth Bridge was inscribed onto the World Heritage list by UNESCO at the 39th Session of the World Heritage Committee. This lecture describes how the Bridge came to be Scotland’s 6th World Heritage Site, and how it was the first successful UK nomination since 2009.
