Inaugurated through a bequest made in July 1980 to which further funds were subsequently added in 1983 by Vera Collington in memory of her uncle Angus Graham.
The Angus Graham Grant is awarded as a general Grant that meets this specific remit. Detailed Grant guidelines are available with the application form below – please ensure you read these thoroughly before applying for a Grant.
The grant is made on the recommendation of the Grants and Awards Committee and the approval of the Society’s Council.
Grant applications should be addressed to the Director and arrive in the Society offices on or before the 30 November each year. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that supporting references and/or other documentation arrives with the Society by the deadline.
The Grants and Awards Committee usually meets in March and their recommendations are considered by Council in April, applicants can therefore expect to hear whether they have been successful or not either late in April or May each year.
Further deadlines regarding the use of grant money and reporting can be found in the guidelines.
