Society Events Move Online Again

9th December 2021 | Categories: Up and coming events

Following recent new Scottish Government guidance emphasising working from home where possible, the Society has decided to move its lectures and other events back to being fully online. We are doing this to help protect our staff and those others with whom we work to host in-person hybrid events at this time, and we hope you understand.

Those who have booked for events will receive an email with updated information – we expect to move back to Zoom meetings, but hope to continue YouTube streaming as well if possible.

Presently we have decided to move our Monday 13th December 2021 lecture and Monday 17th January lecture online only. Decisions on other possible changes will be made in due course, please keep an eye on your email inboxes and the Society website to stay up-to-date.

Apologies for the relatively short notice, you will understand that Scottish Government guidance changes as the evidence requires it to.

We wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas and a happy Hogmanay,

Yours,

Simon Gilmour

Director, Society of Antiquaries of Scotland
