Why Become a Fellow?

Fellows form the core of the Society and today number over 2,600 with the majority based in Scotland and across the UK, along with a growing number from continental Europe and overseas.

Fellows have a range of interests, are inspired by the past and champion the Society’s commitment to research excellence and the sharing of knowledge on Scotland’s history, heritage and archaeology.
