ONLINE FELLOWS’ MEETING: Tracing and Connecting Artefacts from the Garstang Excavations
This talk will provide an overview of the ‘Reconstructing the Ancient Past’ project led by the University of Liverpool as part of the RICHeS programme of research. Our goal is to digitally reunite the distributed archaeological collection of John Garstang, whose excavations in Egypt and Sudan have resulted in thousands of artefacts that have since been dispersed to museums around the world. This talk will showcase recent work on the project, including research on Garstang objects in Scotland.

This talk will be presented by Dr Alex Fitzpatrick FSAScot.
