FELLOWS-ONLY TOUR: HES Archives & Library

Our friends at Historic Environment Scotland (HES) have kindly offered to give a small group tour of HES Archives & Library to Fellows in November.

The archives – compiled and managed by HES – first began in 1908. Today, it holds more than five million items and continue to record all aspects of the historic environment. The extensive archive spans a whole range of buildings, archaeological monuments and industrial and maritime sites, giving unparalleled insight into Scotland’s stories.

Step inside the HES Archives & Library in Edinburgh to see some important items in the collection.

Places for this free, in-person group tour are strictly limited to 15 people and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
