Originally from Somerset, Kath studied and worked in archaeology and heritage management in Orkney for 10 years, achieving a BA (Hons) and an MLitt at the University of the Highlands and Islands. Kath is currently researching a Scottish Graduate School for Arts and Humanities funded PhD exploring human-red deer relationships in Scottish prehistory and contemporary Scottish culture. She is now the ScARF Research Officer developing the Regional Research Framework for the Northeast of Scotland.
