Contribute to a Heritage Recording Project at Edinburgh’s Gillis Centre

Dear Fellows,

The Research in Action on Church Heritage (ReACH) team will be undertaking a heritage recording day at The Gillis Centre, Edinburgh on Tuesday 6 October from 9:30am to 5pm. The team is looking for volunteers to help with this recording. Interested participants can register to participate on Eventbrite.

We will be working together to create a detailed record of the building, its furnishings, fixtures, fittings, and historic artefacts, along with the church’s architecture. No prior experience is needed. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in architectural history, historic churches, or local heritage to get hands on experience in heritage recording.

Further information is attached above in case this event may be of interest to you.

Kind regards,

Rebecca Oakes
