We were contacted by Fellows who reported that several curator posts have been or will be removed and object conservator posts are also being lost from Glasgow Museums Service.

In September 2024, our President wrote to the Chief Executive of Glasgow Life to express the extreme concern the Society has regarding the cuts to staffing provision at the organisation.
