After completing an Arts degree from Trinity College Cambridge, His Majesty served in the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy from 1971 to 1976. Among his many philanthropic and environmental endeavours are the Prince’s Trust which he founded in 1976 and The Prince’s Charities, as well as patron of many other charities and the arts.
