Edinburgh World Heritage seeking two new Trustees

If you have a passion for heritage, the built environment and community development within a World Heritage Site, and would like to contribute your time and expertise voluntarily to a charity, then this exciting opportunity may be for you.

Edinburgh World Heritage is currently looking for two new Trustees with drive and enthusiasm to join its board. As a Trustee you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the organization and stewardship of public and charitably given funds, supporting and adding value to the work of its small professional team. Experience with a charitable board is desirable.

The organisation is responsible for conserving and promoting the interests of the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh World Heritage Site, including the conservation and repair of buildings, monuments and spaces; the adaptation of historic buildings to modern life; learning, outreach and promotion and influencing decision-making within the site.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 29 April 2016.
