Tune in to the Rhind Lectures 2020

14th December 2020 | Categories: Lecture, Up and coming events

The Rhind Lectures 2020 have begun, with the first lecture now available to watch free on our YouTube channel.

This year, the series of six lectures by Dr Alison Sheridan will offer an in-depth assessment of the current state of our knowledge about the period c.4000-2500 BC, when new ways of living and of making sense of the world appeared and developed in Neolithic Scotland.

Watch all the Rhind Lectures free anytime as they are uploaded to our YouTube channel, and register free here to join us on Friday 18 December for a live Q&A with Dr Sheridan via Zoom.

Still need convincing? Listen to the short interview on BBC Radio Orkney below, where Dr Sheridan discusses Neolithic innovation and ingenuity in Orkney 5,000 years ago (interview starts at 15:00 and ends at 19:23).
