“The Society is central to the promotion of Scotland’s history, both to a domestic and an international audience; joining the Society enabled me to increase my connections with the world-wide community interested in Scotland’s past. It also offered access to the Society’s activities and publications, and the opportunity to learn about the latest work in historical and archaeological research.”
“In recent years, I have greatly appreciated the enhanced opportunities to attend online events and lectures from Canada, as well as participating in the Society’s outreach activities to Fellows based outside Scotland. When I am in Scotland, I have very much enjoyed the Society lectures and trips. Having access to the Society’s latest publications and research, both as published volumes and on social media, has been invaluable for my research and teaching.”
